Active Directory

This use-case guide provides a step-by-step examples on how to provision storage for active directory with the S1 system.

Before you begin

Before storage can be provisioned for active directory please make sure that you have created:

  1. A floating IP (either through the CLI or the web-application).
  2. A network-attached storage (NAS) with the active directory option, use either the CLI or the web-application.
  3. Ensure that you have a functioning Active Directory domain environment set up.

Configuring active directory

To use the NAS within the active directory domain, you need to set your active directory configurations. Use the following steps to guide you through.
